SWAY Events Expands Their Unique Marketing Niche
Phoenix-based SWAY Events has a loyal following of local fun seekers, a growing number of high-profile clients and a founder who has no limit to what his team - or his imagination - can do to promote his clients’ products.
“Throughout the past five years, we’ve weathered the economic storm, expanded the reach of our business and consistently given Phoenicians an outlet for fun,” states SWAY owner and front-man, Gary Guerin. “We not only think outside the box when crafting projects, we strive to be trend-setting and always flex our creative muscles to offer something new. That is what makes for endless marketing tactics and nonstop possibilities for consumer interaction.”
Events scheduled to celebrate the firm’s milestone achievement include a “Five Years of Fabulous” reception, June 1st, a “Totally 80’s Dance Party,” June 17th, a themed “Harry Potter” party, July 9th, and a SWAY LA bus trip, the last weekend of July, followed by The First Annual SWAY Swagger Awards on August 14th.
Although, based in Phoenix, SWAY Events, works with local, regional and national clients to create extraordinary marketing promotions and plan to expand their business with a satellite office, in Los Angeles, within the next year.
Adds Guerin, “We’re proud to be a local success story and grateful for everyone who has made it a point to attend our events and support our clients’ products. Now that Phoenicians know who we are, and our Company is strong, it’s time to spread our wings and reach out to other markets.”
Initially specializing in the GLBT market, and now working with mainstream commercial clients and non-profit organizations, SWAY has quickly built a reputation as the hippest and most happening events company in Arizona. Their promotions team takes an unprecedented approach to party planning for everything from birthday parties and award shows to grand openings and product launches. This past year, they were tapped to run the official Gift Lounge, at the Daytime EMMY Awards and hired by national retail companies to run sampling, non-profit and corporate events.
“The most rewarding part of our business is the incredible sense of satisfaction we achieve in creating budget-conscious, mutually beneficial events for the people, products and charities we respect and admire,” says Guerin.
In celebration of their anniversary, SWAY is re-launching their Web site, www.swayevents.com, with enhanced and new interactive features – all interlinked with Facebook and Twitter. Users can now create profiles, leave feedback, contribute to a blog, participate in surveys, plan their own events, download photo galleries and find out what’s happening in their area. During the month of June, site visitors will be registered to win prizes that include gift bags, bar tabs and free admission to SWAY events.
In July, SWAY will open a creative studio space as one of the new Shops at Alta, located at 600 N. 4th Street in Downtown Phoenix. SWAY will invite urban dwellers to visit the space and be part of the creative process that produces customized promotions and events for their private and public clients. SWAY will offer new ala carte services for consumers seeking ways to add flare to their events, yet don’t have the resources to hire a full-time event producer. These services will include graphic design, printing, talent bookings, décor packages and more. In addition, the “Think Tank” space will be utilized for samplings, ticketing and the sale of retail products from SWAY’s roster of clients.
