Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton has added another staff member to his office, and this one is the youngest yet.
Caleb Laieski, 17, will work in the mayor’s office as Stanton’s “Youth and Diversity Liaison.”
Laieski, who says he was bullied at Surprise Willow Canyon High School for being gay, will focus his work on raising awareness about bullying and diversity. His efforts in the mayor’s office will complement the work of Stanton’s wife, Nicole France Stanton, who has taken on an anti-bullying agenda as the “First Lady of Phoenix.” Read more »
