First HIV-positive youth social & support group!

From one n ten:

In 2013, the first HIV-positive youth social & support group will launch at one n ten. The mission of the youth-led group is “to empower HIV-positive youth to build positive relationships, improve their self-esteem and acquire life skills through peer mentorship, adult role-modeling and structured social activities, ultimately leading to improved clinical and mental health outcomes as well as a healthy transition into adulthood upon aging out of the one n ten youth program. This new program will be facilitated by the one n ten Director of Programs, with additional support from a one n ten Adult Volunteer. Read more »
