City of Glendale announces February Events!

The following events are offered from the city of Glendale Parks, Recreation and Library Services in February.

Cooking for Diabetics Class
1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Dr.
Learn to shop, prepare and enjoy one of the world’s healthiest diets.  Also master a few basic cooking skills, learn a few tricks of the trade and start to enjoy cooking in your own kitchen with instruction from Kent McDonald a certified professional chef. BBVA Compass and WNBA Cares are teaming up for the third consecutive year for the Team. Works. In Schools initiative, held this time at Roosevelt Elementary School in Mesa on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The event marks the 14th hands-on service project since the program’s inception in 2010. Cris Cringle’s 7th Annual Winter Wonderland is benefitting Hospice of the Valley on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9p.m – 11p.m. at the Kobalt Bar at Park Central, 3110 N Central Ave. This event -- for guests 21 and older -- will feature a raffle drawing.
