We are conducting group discussions during the month of March 2012 and need your help!

The Maricopa County Health Department, along with the Arizona Department of Health Services, is sponsoring a community led effort to improve health and create a strong local public health system for residents in Maricopa County.  Pima Prevention Partnership is conducting a series of focus groups with the purpose of collecting information that will help the county and state to develop a plan that will result in positive and realistic changes in the areas of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and related conditions in Maricopa County. The information that people share will provide the county and state with a greater understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of our existing programs and services.  It will also provide information about  how to enhance and/or expand programs and services.

We are looking for a space to hold a group discussion as well as participants who are a part of the LQBT community. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.  We are hoping to schedule something either Saturday, Monday or Tuesday day or early evening.

We have one group already scheduled for:

Friday, March 23 at 1 – 2:30 p.m. at:
Quality Care Network
5326 E. Washington St. Building B

We can accommodate up to 15 participants at each focus group. Participants receive $20 gift card to a retailer.

To Participate Please Call: (602) 251-3171 ext. 4104

This project is part of a comprehensive community health needs assessment for Maricopa County
